The CARISMA SB 46 side-event on "Global R&D cooperation in climate mitigation technology: opportunities and challenges" will present the key findings from researchers involved in the CARISMA project and convene a group of UNFCCC and non-UNFCCC stakeholders, who will present their view on the topic from the perspective of the private sector, the European Commission, the Technology Executive Committee and the regional negotiator. This event will take place on the 18th of May 2017, from 11:30 till 13:00, in Room Bonn (181).
Main aim of this side event is to provide up-to-date information and facilitate discusssions about the issue of global R&D cooperation in climate technologies to inform negotiators and decision makers involved in discussions and negotiations under the UNFCCC.
